5 new Italian TV series produced by Amazon Studios have been announced.

- Bang Bang Baby : Bang Bang Baby is a crime drama set in Milan in the late 1980s, and tells the story of a shy and insecure teenager who becomes the youngest member of a criminal organization, not for money, ambition or desire for power, but to win the love of his father. The cast of the series sees Arianna Becheroni, Adriano Giannini, Lucia Mascino and Dora Romano as the main performers. The series will be released in 2022.

- Everybody loves diamonds : The series "heist" (or about a robbery) is inspired by the "Heist of Antwerp" of 2003, the largest diamond theft in the world, in which Notarbartolo and his deranged group of thieves manage to circumvent the state-of-the-art security system of the Antwerp Diamond Center and to steal precious stones worth millions of dollars. Everybody Loves Diamonds is directed by Gianluca Maria Tavarelli, produced by Mario Gianani and Lorenzo Gangarossa for Wildside, a Fremantle-based company, and written by Michele Astori, Stefano Bises, Giulio Carrieri and Bernardo Pellegrini. The series, starring Kim Rossi Stuart as Leonardo Notarbartolo, will be released in 2023

- The Bad Guy : The Bad Guy combines crime with dark comedy and tells the incredible story of Nino Scotellaro, a Sicilian prosecutor who has dedicated his entire life to the fight against the mafia and who is suddenly accused of being one of them who has always fought: a mobster. After the sentence, with nothing left to lose, Nino decides to pull off a Machiavellian plan of revenge, becoming the "bad guy" into which he was unjustly transformed. The Bad Guy is a series by Ludovica Rampoldi, Davide Serino and Giuseppe G. Stasi, directed by Giancarlo Fontana and Giuseppe G. Stasi. Produced by Nicola Giuliano, Francesca Cima and Carlotta Calori for Indigo Film, The Bad Guy will be available in 2022.

- Prisma : coming-of-age drama that revolves around the complex relationship between physical appearance and identity; especially for a generation that uses its image as its main tool to express itself. The series tells the story of Marco and Andrea, two identical twins who challenge, each in a different way, gender norms. Their journey of self-discovery will also involve their group of friends, all looking for their place in an ever-changing world. The series is created by Ludovico Bessegato and Alice Urciuolo, directed by Bessegato and produced by Rosario Rinaldo's Cross Productions, and will be available exclusively on Prime Video in Italy and abroad in 2022.

- Monterossi : investigative thriller in six episodes with a comic twist based on the popular detective novels by Alessandro Robecchi This is not a love song and Di rabbia e di vento (published by Sellerio).

The series revolves around Carlo Monterossi, played by Fabrizio Bentivoglio, a 50-year-old disillusioned television writer who owes his success to trashy programs he hates. When he decides to leave the world of TV forever, he becomes embroiled in a mysterious series of crimes.

In his search he will meet many eccentric characters, a few too many dead bodies and some truly incredible cases. The cast also includes Donatella Finocchiaro, Tommaso Ragno and Martina Sammarco. Monterossi is produced by Palomar, written by Davide Lantieri, Alessandro Robecchi and Roan Johnson, also director here, and will be available exclusively on Prime Video in Italy in 2022.

Much anticipation also for Dinner Club , a sort of "Beijing Express of the kitchen" which will be led by Carlo Cracco and which will have as competitors Diego Abatantuono, Luciana Littizzetto, Fabio De Luigi, Sabrina Ferilli, Valerio Mastanndrea and Pierfrancesco Favino.
