La Talpa returns to Canale 5 in 2022. After the airing of de Big Brother Vip 6 always entrusted to Alfonso Signorini or after The Island of the Famous a new reality show will be broadcast which returns to the Mediaset networks eleven years later for the first time on channel 5, the Mediaset flagship.
The format is distributed by Primitives and was aired in 2000. The rule of the reality game show is simple: a group of VIP competitors participates in La Mole, the so-called “suspects” or investigated. The aim of the game is to find and unmask “The mole”, that is a saboteur, who hides in disguise among the competitors.
The task of finding out who the Mole could be is entrusted to both the public from home and via televoting determines a ranking of the suspects as well as the competitors who through the nominations establish their ranking. The one who receives the most votes from the public faces the elimination or interrogation test.
