Format

Rai 2 will premiere a new quiz show titled Una Parola di Troppo (One word too many) on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 15.15, daily stripped from Monday to Friday. The series is produced by Stand by me and it's is a game show that plays with the Italian language.

Three pairs of competitors compete in each bet with words, the more they can guess the more their prize pool increases.

Only one of the three pairs makes it to the final game, where he has the chance to take home the entire prize pool he has accumulated by trying his luck. The couple who make it to the final game also earns the title of "bet champion" and the right to return to play in the next bet.

The show is presented  by Giancarlo Magalli.
