Discovery Latin America announces the production of an exclusive series on the life of Diego Armando Maradona, based on the unpublished short story of his daughter Dalma, executive producer of the three-part docuseries.

Through her own experiences, narrated in  first person, Dalma Maradona retraces the life of his father, considered the best footballer of all time. Who was the man everyone called "God"? What was it like growing up in such an atmosphere of apparent omnipotence? In "La Hija de Dios" (title not final), Dalma Maradona meets people very close to the soccer star and draws a personal profile of his father, starting from his own intuitions.

With privileged access to the archives of the Maradona family, through unpublished anecdotes and moments never shared before, Dalma reveals hes deepest feelings for the first time since her father's death and at the same time relives the moments of glory and controversial situations that have marked the her father's life.

The series was shot in several cities where Diego Maradona lived and will arrive exclusively on Discovery in 2022.
