Sanremo’s Week is the most talked event of the season and is achivieng million of viewers with the presence of Amadeus as main host and his co-presenters. In terms of share, the debut on Tuesday, February 2 was the best. The 72nd Festival di Sanremo opened on Rai 1 with 10.911.000 viewers and 54.7% share. The first and main part had 13.805.000 and 54.51% share. A year ago, the launch got 8.363.000 and 46.6% share. More than 200.000 people watched the event online. The show hosted by Amadeus sees every night a different co-host: Fiorello (1th night), Checco Zalone (2nd night) and an Italian actess: Ornella Muti and Lorena Cesarini. Also, last night was announced the trio of presenters for the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin: Laura Pausini, Mika and Alessandro Cattelan.
The second night, on Wednesday, February 2 achieved another record with 11.3 million viewers and an audience share of 55.8%.
