Abacus Media Rights (AMR), an Amcomri Entertainment company, has agreed a deal with leading premium streaming service Hulu in the U.S. for engaging reality show Peckham’s Finest, which will launch on their platform on 10th February.
Produced by Bandicoot Scotland Limited (part of Argonon Group), Peckham’s Finest (10 x 45’), which transmitted on ITV2 and ITV Hub in December, is entertainment at its best – a reality show which gives the viewer a glimpse into one of London’s liveliest neighbourhoods… one that has changed significantly in the last decade.
Produced by Steve Earley, Daniel Gray and Sophie Hales, directed by Justin Lennox Bradley and executive produced by Derek McLean, Daniel Nettleton and James Lessell, the series follows a diverse and aspirational group of young people living everyday life in this eclectic pocket of London. These are real stories, so while we may never know what’s going to happen, there will be comedy, joy and drama at the heart of this irresistible series.
Jonathan Ford, Managing Director, Abacus Media Rights, comments, “This is a very different reality series which we are sure will be a strong show for Hulu. It is shot in a unique way, combining ‘tik tok’ style and real-life footage. It is warm, engaging and funny and you can’t help but become caught up in the lives of this disparate and ambitious group as they work hard and play hard to reach success in Peckham.”
Peckham’s Finest, with its fun, genuine and likeable cast which includes influencers, artists and DJs, is an authentic tv show about a community of twenty-somethings and their families, friends and loved ones from Peckham in Southeast London. We follow the ‘Peckhamites’ through love, laughter, career highs, lows and daily dramas. The group are all interconnected – from working-class heroes to people on their way up, or those who are all about doing what they can for their community.
