Roberto Saviano is the host of new show Insider Face to Face with Crime
Rai 3 broadcast a new show titled Insider. Face to face with crime on Saturday, February 12 in prime time, hosted by writer Roberto Saviano.
The first episode recorded 941.000 viewers with an audience share of 4.69%.

In each of the four episodes, the writers meets people linked to criminal organizations through exclusive interviews from witnesses of justice and infiltrated agents.

In the first episode, Saviano met a  collaborator of justice Anna Carrino, who for thirty years was the companion of Francesco Bidognetti, boss of the Casalesi, the Camorra clan that threatened Saviano and forced him to a life under protection. The writer was able to ask her: why did the Casalesi clan condemn me?

On February 19, the protagonist of "Insider" will be witness to justice Piera Aiello, a widow of the mafia who rebelled against the Cosa Nostra by denouncing the killers of her husband. The story of Piera Aiello will also bring us to remember the judge Paolo Borsellino, who accompanied her on her path of testimony, and her sister-in-law Rita Atria, the youngest Italian witness of justice, who committed suicide at the age of 17 after the massacre of via D'Amelio.

Saturday 26 February an exclusive face to face between Roberto Saviano and Giuseppe Misso, boss of the Rione Sanità, today a collaborator of justice. In the nineties he founded one of the most powerful and ferocious criminal cartels in Naples. He was convicted of mafia association, yet he always rejected the label of Camorra.

Finally, Saturday 5 March we will discover what it feels like to become an insider when you are on the other side of the fence, thanks to the story of the first Italian police officer infiltrated in a criminal organization: the undercover agent Maria Monti.
