LA Screenings Independents announced today the return of its in-person conference and marketplace, which will take place at the Fairmont Hotel from May 18th to 20th, 2022. The event will be produced in partnership with NATPE, EventsTM, and Prensario.
The conference program will be curated by the team at Prensario, a pioneer media company with almost 50 years in the entertainment business, and is designed to educate, inform and provide connectivity for attendees, including content producers, exhibitors and buyers from around the world. The conference program will take place on May 19 at the Fairmont Hotel with the full marketplace and screenings from independent producers to be held through the three day event.

This panel powered by Prensario International features executives from top platforms covering the Latin America streaming business. They will describe their operations and content strategies, and will discuss plans for growth in viewership, subscriptions, advertising, new markets, and content inventory in 2022.

US Agencies, Latin American broadcasters and commissioning production companies expose their buying and development priorities considering the current post pandemic market, half traditional, half newcomer. Emerging genres, twists, audiences, and the new business formulas that work better for them.
This year, LA Screenings Independents expects to see representatives from all over the world. In previous years, the event saw buyers and producers from Eastern Europe (Kosovo, Moldova, Russia); Africa (Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa); and APAC (Asia-Pacific region: China, Japan, India, Philippines).
