FormatBiz | Name That Tune is back on TV8 with The Jackal

Tv8 launches a new edition of Name That Tune, which has already travelled to more than 26 markets to date. Originally created in America, the traditional gameshow was re-launched on FOX in January 2021, hosted by Jane Krakowski with Randy Jackson leading the band.

In Italy, the show will be launched on April 26 at 21.25 with a new duo of presenters Ciro Priello and Fabio Balsamo, known as The Jackal.

Name That Tune - Indovina La Canzone (6 episodes) is produced by Banijay Italy who owns the format's rights of the show.

Since Banijay added the format to its catalogue, Name That Tune has enjoyed renewed success. Produced by Banijay Italia, the second series broke records for TV8, becoming the second most-watched entertainment programme aired in prime time for the channel during the 2020/21 season.
