After a two-year pause, DISCOP’s MENA-centric distribution and coproduction market heads back to Dubai from 17 to 19 May at the Dubai World Trade Center.
So far, 72 global and regional distributors, and independent producers have signed up for a reformatted three-day schedule making well-prepared, well-researched meetings a top priority.
Amongst them, INTER MEDYA, ZEE ENTERTAINMENT, KANAL D, GLOBAL AGENCY, ZDF-STUDIOS, FREMANTLE, ROTANA STUDIOS, ATV, MISTCO, GLOBAL SCREEN, SAAVOS PRODUCTIONS, BRIGHT LENS MEDIA, CAPTAIN BOY, MEDIA MOVE, EAGLE FILMS MIDDLE EAST, CALINOS, ABC MARKETING & DISTRIBUTION, TAPE PRODUCTIONS, UNION MEDIA, AFRIKATOON, ECCHO RIGHTS, DKL STUDIO, RAYA DISTRIBUTION, MULTICHOICE, DANDELOO, RATATOUILLE MEDIA, ENTERTAINMENT STUDIOS, ISLAMEDIA, ARAB FORMAT LAB, STAR INDIA, UNITED MEDIA, CYBER GROUP, CEDARS ART PRODUCTION, DYNAMIC TELEVISION, VOX CINEMAS and many more.
200+ programmers and acquisition, commissioning and production executives will also take part representing MENA’s key broadcasters, pay-tv services, streaming platforms and OTT’s, and telco and mobile operators.
For the first time, DISCOP Dubai will also feature an initiative, the Coproduction Salon, highlighting solid Arabic film, television and animation projects seeking international distribution and funding partners.Participating companies range from Saudi Arabia, to Egypt, to Morocco and everywhere in between. The Coproduction Salon is headed by DISCOP Dubai Partner HCONSULT, the MENA region’s Content Market and Distribution Expert.
Thanks to DISCOP Dubai’s collaboration with CABSAT, MENA’s #1 broadcasting solutions expo/conference program, all attendees will also have access to global brands specializing in innovative broadcast and satellite-related products and services. They will also be invited to take part in a comprehensive conference program welcoming 120+ game-changers, innovators and thought leaders from around the world, and to include a series of talks and panels focused delivering key insights into Saudi Arabia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
DISCOP Dubai was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19 and there will be no digital component added to the 2022 edition.
