Natpe Hollywood reveals its agenda for June 1
NATPE  has revealed the full conference agenda for first-ever NATPE Hollywood. Taking place all day on June 1, 2022 at the W Hollywood Hotel, it will kick-off with welcoming remarks at 9:00 AM PT.

The opening conversation at NATPE Hollywood will focus on the evolving business of content since the introduction of streaming from a financial perspective. Matthew Belloni, Founding Partner of Puck News, will moderate a session featuring Lionsgate Television Group Chair, Kevin Beggs; Candle Media Co-CEO Kevin Mayer; and Managing Director and Senior Media & Entertainment Analyst at BofA Securities Global Research Jessica Reif Ehrlich.

International Production Takes Center Stage

Another major focus of the event will be a deep dive into the inner workings of international content production. Teresa Fernández-Valdés, Executive Producer, Bambú Producciones, a STUDIOCANAL Company; Firat Gulgen, CEO and Founder, Calinos; and Luca Bernabei, CEO and Producer, Lux Vide will be on stage for a session titled “Global Drama 2022: Where In-Language Originals Dominate.”
Immediately following this session, Françoise Guyonnet, Executive Managing Director TV Series, STUDIOCANAL; Matt Creasey, EVP, Sales, Coproductions & Acquisitions, Banijay Rights; Ana Bond, SVP & Managing Director, Intl Productions, LATAM & U.S. Hispanic, Sony Pictures Entertainment and; Christian Vesper, President of Global Drama, will take the stage for a panel titled “The Transformation of International Co-Productions”.
Unscripted Execs Tackle the Changing Times

Covering the shifting nature of the unscripted industry the conference will close with a mega-panel moderated by Bruce David Klein, Founder and Executive Producer, Atlas Media Corp., and Phil Gurin, President & CEO of The Gurin Company, and Co-Chairman FRAPA. Premiering a Scripted Series in 2022

Any new scripted series for 2022 faces increased competition for building a loyal audience. Hear about AMC’s plans to tap new audiences for “Dark Winds,” a noir thriller series about two Navajo police, lead by a Native American writing team. This fireside chat features the series’ creator, Graham Roland, star, Zahn McLarnon, and leading exec at AMC Studios, president of Entertainment, Dan McDermott.
