CJ ENM announced today at the Busan Content Market 2022 conference that My Boyfriend is Better is confirmed to be optioned in Germany, holding hands with Tresor TV once again. The format is ready to be spread across the world, once again expected to continue the legend of I Can See Your Voice.

My Boyfriend is Better is CJ ENM's newest music format that uniquely combines singing and betting under the concept of love relationship. Five girlfriends who want to show off their boyfriends' singing skills appear on the show, and each couple goes through four rounds of stage competition with couple money to bet on the winner of each stage. The girlfriend who bets on the winner, even if it's not her boyfriend, will get all the game money as a prize.

Jung-woo Won, the executive producer of My Boyfriend is Better shared a talk with Diane Min, the Head of Format Sales at CJ ENM, about the stories behind the production. The format recently drew a worldwide attention at MIPTV this year, being selected as one of the most anticipated formats at Fresh TV Formats. Regarding this, Won pointed the cleverness of the format as the reason for success.

Won said, "The stage music format is doing well across the world, but the addition of K-pop and the mixture of love and the investment of money is what makes this format original. Going through the bets, audiences can feel all kinds of emotion shared in a love relationship."
