Primitives is pleased to announce that an all-new series of the award-winning reality competition format ‘The Mole’ is coming to Netflix. The 10-part series is produced by Eureka Productions and will be launched in Fall 2022. The deal was brokered by Siobhan Crawford, who departed the Belgian distributor earlier this year.

In this reimagined version of ‘The Mole’, twelve players work together in challenges to add money to a pot that only one of them will win at the end. Among the players is one person who has secretly been designated ‘the Mole’ and tasked with sabotaging the group's money-making efforts. Who will outlast their competition by exposing the Mole and winning the prize pot?

With more than twenty international versions, ‘The Mole’ is the most-sold format from Belgium. Since its launch in 1998, series have been produced in the US, Germany and the Nordics (among others) and is currently still running in Belgium, The Netherlands and Sweden.

An Italian adaptation for Mediaset, which is scheduled for 2023 was recently announced as well.
