The hit prime time game show Caduta Libera (Still Standing), distributed by Armoza Formats, part of ITV Studios, has now been commissioned for a 9th season in Italy after an outstanding 8th season, which had the best seasonal debut of the last 3 years. The numbers grew week by week outperforming Canale 5's prime time average with a 21.07% market share and an impressive 26% market share with the key demo 25-54.
In addition, Still Standing has now been acquired in Spain, Greece and South Africa. The Spanish rights were taken by Gestmusic Endemol Spain, who previously produced the show successfully for 10 years in Spain. In South Africa, prodco The TVSMITHS has acquired the local rights, while Silverline Productions holds the rights in Greece.
The studio-based game show is Israel’s most successful format with over 7000 episodes in more than 40 territories including the US, Spain, Brazil, France, Hungary, Italy, Thailand, Turkey and China.
Created by Israel’s Channel 10 and July-August Productions, Still Standing (60’) is the ground-breaking game show that offers contestants the chance to win $1 million by out-guessing 10 opponents in 10 fast-paced and dramatic trivia battles. As the clock winds down, contestants fight to be the last one still standing, because if they're left scrambling for the answer, they'll literally be dropped from the game – straight through the studio floor!
Amos Neumann, COO of Armoza Formats, “‘Still Standing” is a gift that doesn't stop giving – with over 7,000 episodes worldwide, it's a solid choice for broadcasters to attract viewers from all demos. We are extremely happy with its continued travel –with Greece, South Africa, and Spain on-board as well as the commission of Season 9 in Italy.”
