The unique prime time family entertainment format The Way Out is continuing its success in the Benelux.
Following the huge rating success of season 4, VTM (Dutch-speaking Belgium) has ordered a fifth season, in co-production with season 4 for Talpa in the Netherlands. The fourth season for VTM outperformed the first three successful seasons, with a consolidated 44.7% (18-44) average market share, an impressive increase of +136% vs the channel average of 18.9% (YTD, on Sundays). The third season for Talpa reached a market share of 15.8% in the key 25-59 target group, an increase of +56% vs the channel average of 10.1% in 25-59 (YTD, Live +7).
On each episode of ‘The Way Out’, two different celebrity duos are sent into two identical rooms full of mysteries to be solved. Their quest? To figure out the scientific experiments and unravel the codes, because every test or assignment they complete provides them with a clue. And brings them a step closer to being the first duo to find The Way Out.
