Jams to debut in Spain
After its success in Italy and abroad, Jams, the award-winning teen series co-produced by Rai Kids and Stand by me, will debut in Spain where it will be broadcast by TVE on Clan, a children’s channel. The series, which was made during the Covid-19 pandemic, aired in Italy on Rai Gulp with four seasons and a special edition set. Subsequently, it was distributed throughout South and Central America by HBO Latinoamérica, with the collaboration of RaiCom.

The innovative teen series created by Simona Ercolani is the first in Italy of its kind to deal with the theme of child abuse, helping young audiences decipher ambiguous behaviour by adults, learning how not to be manipulated, to recognize risks and, above all, to ask for help by overcoming fear and shame. The series also deals with other sensitive topics, such as bullying, cyberbullying, and gambling.

Since its release, Jams has received great critical and public acclaim, winning prestigious awards in Italy and abroad, including the Pulcinella Award at Cartoons on the Bay, the Content Innovation Award at Cannes and the Moige Award (Movimento Italiano Genitori) for its ability to tackle everyday problems and challenges faced by children and teens using their own language and narrative plots typical of Kids & Teen series.
