Prime Video has revealed the trailer and key art for Love Club, the new anthological series written by Silvia Di Gregorio, Bex Gunther and Denise Santoro (all emerging authors from the LGBTQIA+ community), alongside Veronica Galli and Tommaso Triolo, with Mario Piredda directing. The new drama series portrays the complicated love and friendships lives among four young people, struggling to find their place in the world. The cast is composed of up-and-coming actors selected by the LGBTQIA+ community, some of them making their debut on screen: Veronique Charlotte, Alessio Lu, Ester Pantano, and Rodrigo Robbiati.

Produced by Tempesta for Prime Video, with the support of Emilia-Romagna, Love Club is composed of 4 episodes and will be launched on the streaming platform on June 20, 2023.

On June 16, at the Studio Melato Theatre in Milan, there will be a preview screening of its first episodes during the 37th MiX LGBTQ+ and Queer Cinema International Festival, an event in association with MIXUP4PRIDE (a program of multidisciplinary initiatives leading up to the Festival in late September) which, from June 10 to 18, will provide a selection of audiovisual content to celebrate Milan’s Pride on June 17.

In a suburban and unique Milan, the Love Club, a disco attended by the queer community, is at risk of closing due to financial problems. The lives of Luz, Tim, Rose, and Zhang, who are all regulars there, brush up against each other in a journey that will see them face their greatest fears: will Luz be able to live out her affair with Roberta without the fear of losing her independence? While mental illness is an obstacle to Tim's dream of DJing, and Rose must regain the courage to sing on a stage, Zhang dreams of performing in drag but must find the strength to confront an abusive partner to do so. Serving as a stage for their lives is the Love Club: a place where sex, love and friendship are expressed with unexpected trajectories and no gender rules.
