On Mondays, May 15 to 29 Rai 1 broadcast Vivere Non È Un Gioco da Ragazzi (tr: Living Is No Child's Play), a new, 3-episode teen drama miniseries produced by Picomedia (Asacha Group) and Rai Fiction. The series focuses on eighteen-year-old Lele, a student of humble origins at an elite high school in Bologna, who discovers the world of drugs and addiction when he is invited to a party with his classmates. He starts taking drugs but soon finds himself short of money, so he begins dealing and sells a pill to his friend Mirco, who is found dead the next day by drug overdose. The first episode reached almost 3.1mln viewers and a 16.7% audience share; the other two episodes’ ratings decreased a little, gathering 2.9mln and a 16.1% share.
On Sunday, May 21 Canale 5 aired 2-episode miniseries Ridatemi Mia Moglie, a Sky Original romantic comedy first released in 2021 on the pay TV broadcaster. The series is produced by Sky and Colorado Film, and is the Italian adaptation of British comedy I Want My Wife Back: it centres on Giovanni (played by Fabio de Luigi), who discovers that his wife, Chiara (portrayed by Anita Caprioli), left him on her 40th birthday. Feeling lonely and abandoned, he begins to think about what went wrong in his life and, most importantly, how he can get her back. The whole series was broadcast on Canale 5 in one evening, reaching 1.5mln viewers and a 9.9% audience share.
