In 2023, the C EU Soon showcase redesigns itself, extending the call to all films and not exclusively debut and second features. The focus is on fiction-long feature films and Italian films, up to now presented at MIA in the framework of What’s Next Italy showcase, which will be presented within the newly empowered C EU Soon.
Eligible films are in an advanced stage of production or in post-production and are looking for an international sales agent.
Up to ten European films, selected by an international committee, will be presented in a session open to sales agents and other MIA registered professionals. The selected films will compete for the Screen International Award: a special press coverage throughout the entire cycle of the winning film, from production to its release and future debut in the festival circuit.
Also, the organization is happy to announce that Screen International partnered again with MIA on the C EU Soon showcase.
