Inter Medya new series Sarmaşık Zamanı, internationally launched at MIPCOM (Cannes, October 16-19, 2023) with the title The Ivy, had a very good welcome in France, as the main cast was promoting the series during a red carpet on the opening day of the market. Formatbiz had the chance to meet the main characters, Burçin Terzioğlu and Onur Tuna (see the full video interviews on our socials).
The mystery drama premiered on the SVOD turkish platform beIN on September 21 and it’s a TOD original, written by Savaş Korkmaz and directed by Gökçen Usta.
Beside Burçin Terzioğlu and Onur Tuna, the cast also includes Hazal Türesan, Yiğit Kirazcı, Tilbe Saran, Emre Karayel.
The Turkish thriller tells the story of Ezgi, a married woman whose life seems perfect, until the day a murder is shocking the wealth neighborhood where they live. Despite her marriage that everyone envied, and a husband full of attention and love: Kerem, Ezgi was experiencing unresolvable problems in her life, after receiving a weird message: “Your husband wants to kill you…".
