The format is based on a show distributed by NBCUniversal, in which a group of six contestants with a secret and irrepressible passion for karaoke have a whole night to challenge each other singing hits and old Italian and international classics. The participants, none of whom are professional singers, will take turns on stage for a series of rounds at the end of which they will have to vote for the best and worst performance of their colleagues. The winner will be the one who has had the most fun and has put himself or herself on the line the most, proving to be a true talent without shame. Amidst all sorts of improvisations, wigs, disguises, improvised dances and irresistible off-key, every weapon will be allowed to make one's performance unforgettable.
The show is hosted by Dargen D'Amico (XFactor), with the actress Claudia Gerini, Alessia Lanza, Francesca Manzini, Pierpaolo Spollon, Nicola Ventola and Lele Adani, Tommaso Zorzi.
Based on the Celebrity Karaoke Club series by Monkey Kingdom, produced in association with Universal International Studios and licensed by NBCUniversal Formats. Directed by Francesco Imperato, Karaoke Night is produced by Stand by Me in collaboration with Prime Video and will be available exclusively on Prime Video from 4 January 2024 in Italy.
