DCD Rights secures 300 hours of premium content deals in Australia and New Zealand.

Prominent UK-based distributor DCD Rights has successfully closed deals, selling 300 hours of premium programming spanning scripted and unscripted genres to broadcasters and streamers in Australia and New Zealand.

Nine Network, a leading Australian broadcaster, has acquired the second series of The Travelling Auctioneers. Additionally, the Australian Foxtel Group has secured over 160 hours of programming, featuring titles such as James Martin’s Spanish Adventure, Emergency: First Time Medics, Penn & Teller: Fool Us Series 7, and Bridezillas Series 13. SBS, an Australian free-to-air channel, has obtained the first window for Prue Leith: My Cotswold Kitchen, slated to air on SBS Food, while Foxtel will hold the second window.

Acorn TV, known for streaming British content in Australia and New Zealand, has invested in 59 hours of the iconic Scottish detective drama Taggart, focusing on series 10-18 and 23-27. Simultaneously, the national broadcaster TVNZ has secured non-fiction titles, including Secret Nazi Bases Series 3, Secrets Of The London Underground Series 2 and 3, and The Travelling Auctioneers Series 2.
