Keshet International (KI) has secured the exclusive worldwide distribution rights to the documentary  2024: 100 Days That Rocked the Royals from the acclaimed production company ITN Productions.

Commissioned by Channel 5 and set to debut in the UK at 1pm on Saturday 20 April, this 1x90’ feature documentary from ITN Productions delves into the unprecedented series of crises faced by the royal family in the first three months of 2024 - crises that posed significant challenges to the monarchy itself. From a king battling cancer to a princess undergoing preventive chemotherapy, and an heir navigating the delicate balance between privacy and duty, the royal family grappled with a range of struggles during this tumultuous period.

Kelly Wright, KI’s MD of Distribution, adds, “The recent challenges faced by Britain’s royal family have captivated audiences worldwide, eliciting a global outpouring of concern and empathy. With its insightful analysis and intimate perspectives, ITN Productions’ film presents a poignant portrayal of a monarchy confronting these challenges with resilience and grace."

Featuring insights from royal commentators and journalists, the film illuminates how, amidst speculation and conspiracy theories, certain segments of society have intensified the pressure on the Royals. With expert analysis and intimate perspectives, this documentary paints a vivid picture of a monarchy grappling with intense scrutiny and adversity.

Produced by the award-winning ITN Productions and commissioned for Channel 5 by Denise Seneviratne, "2024: 100 Days That Rocked the Royals" is directed by Myles Judd and executive produced by Daniel Smith.

KI has recently acquired a diverse range of factual content for its Unscripted Spring 2024 Slate, including: "Ritual Arts" and "Amazing Owl’s Earthbound," a 6x60’ premium documentary series narrated by actor and environmentalist Orlando Bloom; "SAS: Catching the Criminals," a 10x60’ social crime series presented by ex-SAS leader Billy Billingham for BBC One; and "Arctic Wildlife in Lapland," a stunningly shot 3x30’ natural history docuseries celebrating the unique arctic landscape of Fennoscandia’s northernmost region.

Additionally, the global producer and distributor has announced its collaboration with SandStone Global on two premium ancient history documentary series: "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World" and "Vikings," both presented by award-winning historian and presenter Professor Bettany Hughes OBE. KI has also greenlit two straight-to-series factual orders for distribution as part of its Greenlight: Factual & Formats commissioning initiative: "Hitler’s Treasure Hunters" (6x60’) from Perpetual Entertainment and "Catch Me If You Can" (10x60’) from Woodcut Media.
