Nordic hit format This is your Fridge is being rebooted in Sweden for Kanal 5 this autumn. WarnerBros Discovery owned Kanal 5 will re-launch the format with award-winning chef Tareq Taylor as host, visiting some of Sweden's most popular celebriƟes in their homes. WBITVP Sweden will produce.
The format, distributed by Glow Media, launched in the early 1990s in the UK and travelled across Germany (NDR), Denmark (TV2), Sweden (SVT) and Norway (TV2). The format has enjoyed reboots every decade and travelled further into Eastern Europe. This Is your Fridge asks one famous chef to take on the challenge of cooking a three-course dinner in a celebrity home– but there's a catch: they can only use the ingredients already in the fridge, putting celebrities knowledge and ignorance in the kitchen to the test!
