Lo Spaesato the Italian adaptation of Comedy on the Edge, is set to premiere on Rai 2 on Monday, September 16 in prime time.
The format created and produced by the Danish broadcaster DR in collaboration with host Jan Gintberg, is distributed globally by All Right Media.
In this Italian version, comedian and host Teo Mammucari embarks on a journey across Italy, visiting five picturesque and historically rich locations. His travels take him from Agropoli (SA), located near the entrance to the stunning Cilento National Park, to Ostra (AN), a charming hilltop town in the Marche region. He also explores the medieval village of Sonnino and returns to Acerenza (PZ), the town where he spent the early years of his life. The journey culminates in Tricase (LE), a small village in the Salento area, where the vibrant fishing port contrasts beautifully with the baroque flourishes of the historic town center.
Lo Spaesato (5x100’) is produced by Stand by me for Rai's Prime Time Entertainment Division. The show is hosted by Teo Mammucari, with Francesco Sturlese overseeing the project. The writing team includes Svevo Tognalini, Giovanni Todescan, Manolo Bernardo, Leonardo Parata, Andrea Cancellario, Lucia Mascetti, and Ali Sandu Mohammad. Francesca Fredducci serves as the executive producer, with Fabio Placidi as the Rai delegate. Giampaolo Marconato directs the series.
