Brennero is a new thriller drama on Rai 1, produced by Rai Fiction and Cross Productions. In the Province of Bolzano, prosecutor Eva Kofler, of German-speaking background, must team up with Italian-born inspector Paolo Costa to catch a serial killer known as "the Monster of Bolzano." The victims, all German speakers, were targeted for allegedly discriminating against Italian speakers. Paolo, who lost a leg and his partner in a previous attempt to catch the killer, is personally driven to solve the case, while Eva seeks to prove herself worthy of her father's legacy. Despite initial tensions, they become a strong investigative duo, confronting their personal demons as they close in on the killer. Starring Elena Radonicich and Matteo Martari.
