Winning Debut for the Second Season of Io Canto Generation
The kids' talent show Io Canto Generation made a triumphant return with its second season, debuting on Canale 5 in prime time on Wednesday, October 9. Hosted by Gerry Scotti, the show led the evening with 2,458,000 viewers and an 18.13% audience share, climbing to 21.33% in the 15-34 demographic.

The success was further highlighted by peaks of over 3,5million viewers and a 23% share.

First aired in 2010, Io Canto made a return to Canale 5 after a ten-year break due to popular demand. The show features a competition between six teams of young singers, aged 10 to 15, coached and judged by famous artists and celebrities. The 24 talented young singers compete for a prestigious prize plus the chance to record a song with the show's sponsoring radio network. Each episode is packed with musical performances, a live orchestra, and participation from celebrity coaches and judges. The dynamic between the younger contestants and seasoned celebrities creates an emotional and engaging atmosphere, between generations, family and friends.

The format, distributed by Mediaset Distribution, will be showcased at MIPCOM Cannes (October 20-24) at MFE's booth R7.H3.
