The gripping family crime saga Il Patriarca returns for its second season, premiering Friday, November 15, in prime time on Canale 5. This season, directed by and starring Claudio Amendola, continues the story of Nemo Bandera, a powerful and ruthless businessman who conceals his criminal empire under the guise of a thriving fishing company, Deep Sea, in the coastal city of Levante.

After the tragic loss of his son Carlo, Nemo appears to find a semblance of balance, surrounded by his trusted allies, including his wife Serena (Antonia Liskova), his daughter Nina (Giulia Schiavo), and his son-in-law Mario (Raniero Monaco di Lapio). However, the calm is deceptive, as Mario hides a deadly secret: he is Carlo’s murderer.

This season also explores the re-emergence of Nemo's relationship with his eldest daughter, Lara (Neva Leoni), further complicating family dynamics. Meanwhile, a dangerous rival, Raoul Morabito (Federico Dordei), returns to Levante with revenge on his mind, setting the stage for a high-stakes confrontation that could shatter Nemo’s control over the city.

In addition to its storyline, Il Patriarca also delves into Nemo’s personal struggles with Alzheimer’s, adding depth and urgency to his journey.
