Amazon Prime Video is set to premiere Red Carpet - Vip al Tappeto, on Thursday, January 9. Hosted by renowned Italian presenter Alessia Marcuzzi, the show is an adaptation of a successful Nippon TV format, Red Carpet Survival. 

Marcuzzi, who also plays the role of the head of a bodyguard agency, is joined by the legendary Gialappa’s Band—Marco Santin and Giorgio Gherarducci—who provide witty commentary throughout the episodes.  In each episode, three teams of bodyguards must escort their assigned celebrity across the red carpet, ensuring their star never steps off the path. However, physical obstacles, unexpected surprises, and mischievous interferences threaten to derail their mission. If a celebrity steps off the carpet, they lose one of their bodyguards. The team that successfully escorts their star to the final destination without setbacks emerges victorious.
