The 10th edition of Filming Italy - Los Angeles, created and directed by Tiziana Rocca (Agnus Dei), will take place from February 19 to 22, 2025, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles, APA (Association of Audiovisual Producers), the Italian Consulate General, and ITA (Italian Trade Agency).
The festival promotes Italy as a film set and supports the internationalization of Italian cinema and audiovisual productions, featuring exclusive premieres, restored classics, TV series, and short films. Isabella Ferrari will be the festival’s ambassador and will receive the Women Power Award, while Diana Del Bufalo will be the godmother. Dolph Lundgren will serve as the honorary president.
The event will take place entirely in person, while also maintaining its digital platform (developed by MyMovies), making films available in various U.S. states and international territories. The festival continues its collaboration with Women in Film, TV & Media Italy to highlight the role of women in the film industry.
This edition will include a solidarity initiative for the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires and renews its commitment to environmental sustainability through its partnership with FareAmbiente, using eco-friendly materials for awards and stage design.
Key partners include RAI Cinema, SKY Italia, Vision Distribution, Fremantle, Medusa, Netflix, and Amazon Studios, along with Italy for Movies, which promotes Italian filming locations worldwide.
