Compelling natural history meets adrenaline-fuelled entertainment as ocean- phobic celebrities come face-to-face with nature’s most terrifying underwater predators in this ambitious new hybrid format. Across the series, they face increasingly nerve-testing challenges on land and at sea, all designed to prepare them for each episode’s spine-chilling climax – getting up close with a bigger, more terrifying species of shark. On their journey from meeting metre-long nurse sharks in the shallows to massive six-metre-long apex predator tiger sharks of the deep, their first-hand experiences will provide immeasurable excitement. But as they learn to overcome their worst fears, we also get a new perspective on nature’s so-called ‘villains’, realising that sharks have much more to fear from us than we do from them – and that a world without them is actually the most frightening prospect of all…
