The much-awaited Turkish miniseries Il Turco, starring the internationally renowned Can Yaman, is set to make its debut in Italy with a special double primetime event on Canale 5 on Tuesday, March 25, and Thursday, March 27.

As a preview, ten minutes of this epic production—recognized by IMDbPro as one of the most anticipated titles of 2025—will be available for free from March 21 on Mediaset Infinity. Distributed worldwide by Madd Entertainment, Il Turco promises to captivate audiences with its compelling historical narrative and a stellar international cast.
Set in Moena, 1683, Il Turco follows Hasan, a former Ottoman Janissary played by Can Yaman in his first English-language series role. Having escaped a death sentence during the Siege of Vienna, Hasan is wounded and on the run. He finds refuge in the secluded mountain village of Moena, where he is nursed back to health by Gloria, a healer whose miraculous herbs save his life. Their fates become intertwined, leading to a passionate love story amid political turmoil.

As he integrates into the village, Hasan earns the trust of the locals and becomes their ally in a fierce revolt against oppressive feudal lords who impose exorbitant taxes. This struggle for freedom transforms Hasan from a fugitive warrior into a protector, making Il Turco a unique blend of action, historical drama, and romance.
