Mediawan Thematics announced its strategic partnership with South Korean entertainment giant CJ ENM, bringing iconic K-horror series to the INSOMNIA streaming platform, renowned for distinctive atmosphere and gripping storytelling.

South Korean cinema continues to captivate global audiences through unique storytelling and suspense. Korean horror dramas, blending occult traditions, psychological tension, and striking visuals, further INSOMNIA’s goal to offer premium horror content.

Following the success of Monstrous in 2022, INSOMNIA will introduce two compelling new Korean dramas:

The Guest (16x60'), directed by Kim Hong-Sun, featuring a shaman, priest, and detective battling an evil spirit. Available September 1.

Launched in 2021, INSOMNIA is accessible via Canal+, Free, SFR, Molotov, and Amazon Prime Video Channels, providing an extensive and regularly updated catalog of horror content.

"Korean horror stands out internationally for its psychological depth and unique storytelling," says Sonia Latoui, deputy general manager of content at Mediawan Thematics.
