French Elephant International and  Keshet International (KI) have confirmed that their high-stakes espionage thriller, State of Alert (Menace Imminente), will make its debut at Series Mania before premiering on TF1 later this year.

Starring French music icon and actor Patrick Bruel (Villa Caprice, Holy Lands) as a legendary Israeli intelligence officer, the series follows a gripping 72-hour race to unravel a complex web of stolen software and a mysterious disappearance. Alongside him, Natacha Lindinger (Sam, Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky) takes on the role of a determined French anti-terrorism officer. The international cast also features Gaïa Weiss (Mary Queen of Scots, Vikings), Cyril Guei (Hitman, How I Became a Superhero), and Tsahi Halevi (Fauda, Line in the Sand).

This 6x60’ spy thriller is adapted from Dov Alfon’s bestselling novel A Long Night in Paris (Unité 8200). The project was originally pitched by KI’s Head of Global Drama, Atar Dekel, at Series Mania’s Co-Pro Pitch Forum in 2018 before Elephant International joined as co-producers.

Co-produced by Elephant International and Keshet International for TF1, the series is co-created by Leora Kamenetzky (Fauda, False Flag), David Dusa (Flowers of Evil, Amin), and Negar Djavadi (Jacqueline Sauvage, Mon Ange), who also serves as lead writer. Dan Sachar (Line in the Sand) directs, while production is led by Sandra Ouaiss, with Avi Nir, Karni Ziv, Keren Shahar, and Atar Dekel serving as executive producers.

State of Alert (Menace Imminente) will have its world premiere at Series Mania in a red-carpet event on Thursday, March 27, at 8:45 PM at l’UGC de Lille, featuring a special Q&A with cast and crew, including Patrick Bruel. Tickets, available via the Series Mania website, have already sold out. The series is set to air on TF1 later this year, with Newen Connect handling international distribution.
