Key scripted titles include The End, by Oscar-nominated Fernanda Torres and directed by Andrucha Waddington, chronicling four decades in the lives of a group of friends; Justice: Misconduct, an anthology by Manuela Dias, following four ex-prisoners seeking justice beyond the law; and two action series from José Junior—Dissident Archangel, about a sergeant’s quest for revenge, and Anti-Kidnapping Unit, set in Rio’s special police division.
On the formats side, Globo brings The Others, a Globoplay Original by Lucas Paraízo (Under Pressure), about a neighborhood conflict that spirals after a teenage fight. In unscripted, What a Wonderful Cuisine Class is a celebrity cooking competition where non-chefs are trained under pressure.
“The year celebrating Globo’s centenary started with the Oscar win for I’m Still Here, Reincarnate at Berlinale, and now Let Me Sing at Series Mania,” said Rodrigo Nascimento, Head of International Business – EMEA. “Our diverse slate reflects the strength of our content and our strategic focus on Europe.”
