Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2025, CJ ENM continues to see success with its most recent romantic comedy series, My Dearest Nemesis, produced by TV Studio, Studio Dragon. The series remains solid on global OTT streamers, topping their charts constantly.
My Dearest Nemesis follows the story of Ban Ju-yeon (Choi Hyun-wook) and Baek Su-jeong (Mun Ka-young), who first meet via their online game characters during their school days, then meet again in real life as boss and employee 16 years later. According to the global OTT platform Rakuten Viki, My Dearest Nemesis, after its 4th week of release, dominated the No. 1 spot in the streamer’s weekly ranking, which covers the Americas, Europe, Oceania, the Middle East, and India. Continuing its popularity on the platform, the series has swept the top spots in the charts in 109 countries for four weeks in a row, which includes the U.S., Brazil, Mexico, France, Australia, and India. The series’ success extends to other regional platforms as well, including U-NEXT (Japan), Vidio (Indonesia), and FPT Play (Vietnam), as My Dearest Nemesis has secured the top position among all the K-Dramas. Such phenomena prove global fans’ ongoing affection for the show, making them eager to know what will happen in future episodes. Regarding the amount of love My Dearest Nemesis has been receiving, Jamie K Lee, the director of the show, commented, “I’m deeply honored and grateful for all the love and support My Dearest Nemesis has received from global fans so far.”
