Sunny Side of the Doc Unveils First Advisory Board Under New Leadership
Sunny Side of the Doc, the international marketplace for linear and non-linear documentaries, has announced its first-ever advisory board following Aurélie Reman’s appointment as Managing Director.
This new board, introduced today, brings together eight top professionals from across the global documentary sector. Their mission: to support Sunny Side’s strategic direction, enhance programming, and foster innovation and collaboration across the industry.

“This board reflects our commitment to building an inclusive, forward-thinking marketplace,” said Reman. “With diverse expertise and global reach, it will help us anticipate trends, address industry challenges, and generate new business opportunities—starting with this June’s edition.”

Members hail from six countries and represent leading roles in broadcasting, production, distribution, and new media:
Caroline Behar (France Télévisions), Laurent Duret (Bachibouzouk), Paul Heaney (Bossanova), Elvira Lind (Independent), Wangeci Mūrage (Media Pros Africa), Emmanuel Prosnier (Getty Images), Ellen Windemuth (WaterBear Network), Myriam Weil (Federation Studios).

Advisory board members celebrated the initiative, calling Sunny Side a vital space for creativity, exchange, and global industry development.
