Iberseries & Platino Industria 2025 Opens Professional Accreditation and Pitch Call Submissions
Iberseries & Platino Industria has officially opened its professional accreditation process and project submissions for the Platform and Production Company Pitching Sessions of its fifth edition, taking place from September 30 to October 3 at Matadero Madrid. Organized once again by EGEDA and Fundación Secuoya, in collaboration with FIPCA, and with support from the Community of Madrid and Madrid City Council, the event is also sponsored by Madrid Film Office, Film Madrid, and ICEX Spain Export and Investment, among other partners.

Professional accreditation grants access to a wide-ranging program of activities tailored to creatives, producers, financiers, buyers, broadcasters, platforms, and other key players in the audiovisual industry. Attendees will gain entry to the market and networking area, a unique space to promote talent, co-productions, investment opportunities, and the international distribution of Ibero-American content.

This year’s edition brings back a strong lineup of conferences and keynotes, exclusive professional activities, industry screenings, and networking opportunities. Highlights include the Co-Production and Financing Forum, the Platform and Production Company Pitching Sessions, and Training Workshops.

Project submissions are now open for the Platform and Production Company Pitching Sessions, where selected creators will pitch their projects to major global companies such as 3Pas Studios, Amazon MGM Studios, Ánima, BH5 Studios, Dopamine, Gaumont, and Warner Bros. Discovery. These sessions are designed to connect audiovisual projects in various stages—ranging from early concept to development, pre-production, production, and work-in-progress—with potential partners, producers, buyers, and investors.

The calls are aimed at Ibero-American creators, directors, producers, and showrunners who can submit feature films (fiction, animation, and documentary) as well as series in all formats (super-series, mini-series, docuseries, reality, etc.). Up to 20 projects per pitch category will be selected, with each call featuring specific eligibility criteria. Participants may submit up to three different projects per call, but the same project may not be submitted to multiple pitch calls.

The deadline for pitch submissions is Thursday, May 22 at 2:00 PM (GMT+2), Madrid time. Click here: Link
