Rabbit Films to distribuite quiz show format Masters of Everyday Life from Bavaria Entertainment
Rabbit International has secured the international distribution rights for the quiz format Masters of Everyday Life (original title: Meister des Alltags).

Created by Bavaria Entertainment together with SWR Germany, Masters of Everyday Life is a studio-based quiz show that sees teams of celebrities compete in topics related to everyday knowledge.

In Masters of Everyday Life two teams of celebrities try to answer everyday life questions such as, “How do you remove a chocolate ice cream stain from a t-shirt?” or “How do you get a ring off a swollen finger?” The host gives five possible answers, but any of them could be right or wrong. The celebrities have only 10 seconds to place each answer in the True or False column. Each correct answer earns the team up to 200€. The prize money won during the show is always donated to a charity close to the winning team’s heart. It's the quiz show that unlocks the mysteries of the everyday with celebrity smarts!

Masters of Everyday Life has been on air since 2012, with over 300 episodes produced so far. A typical season consists of 12 episodes of 30 mins. The series originally premiered on regional channel SWR, but due to its continued success has since also started to additionally air on the pan-regional broadcaster ARD. The format comes with question bank of over 3000 tried and tested questions. This is the first time that the format is being presented to the international market.

Jonathan Tuovinen, SVP International at Rabbit Films, commented:

“Masters of Everyday Life is a fantastic format that combines the useful information that we can all learn from with audience’s will to know their favourite celebrities even closer. It is funny, entertaining and educational at the same time! We are extremely happy to be partnering with Bavaria Entertainment to bring the format in front of international audiences.”

Jan Hill, Senior Development Producer of Bavaria Entertainment, continued:

“Everyday questions, celebrity fun and surprising answers – what’s not to love? With Rabbit Films as our international partner, we can’t wait to see new countries dive into the mysteries of the everyday!”

Rabbit will be attending the inaugural Paris Unscripted Showcase on 28-30 April, where Masters of Everyday Life will be presented in addition to other new formats and the most exciting updates on unscripted titles from the catalogue.
