Turkish distribution company, Inter Medya announced today that it will represent Ay Yapim’s latest drama series, THE PIT (CUKUR) in the international market. Broadcast on Monday nights, THE PIT has acquired extraordinary ratings since it premiered on Turkey’s Show TV.

THE PIT tells the story of the Kocovali family and Cukur, a neighborhood they have ruled for years. Yamac Kocovali, a rebellious young man, who exiled himself from his family, is dragged back into Cukur when his mother shows up with unexpected news regarding his family. Together with the love of his life, he finds himself in the middle of a war between his family and enemies.
