Eccho Rights have completed sales for three Turkish Drama series in Spain, with Stiletto Vendetta and Brave and Beautiful heading to Mediaset’s Divinity, while Atresmedia have picked up Elif for its channel Nova.
Stiletto Vendetta was one of the top new series in Turkey in 2017-18, with a second season currently airing on Star TV. Brave and Beautiful has so far sold to over 75 countries worldwide following its launch in 2016, and its star cast of Kivanc Tatlitug and Tuba Büyüküstün continue to attract buyers. Both series are produced by Ay Yapim.
Also on its way to Spain is Elif, the highly successful daily drama from Yesil Yapim which will soon reach 1000 episodes during its fifth season, currently airing on Kanal 7 in Turkey.
Turkish Drama has been proving hugely popular in Spain following Nova’s airing of Fatmagul earlier this year to record breaking ratings, and following up this success with Ezel and the acquisition of further Turkish titles. Mediaset has followed suit with a string of acquisitions from Turkey.
