A bride discovers her fiancé cheating on their wedding day in the new series <em>American Princess</em> (10x60'), which is being presented by A+E Networks.
The company is also showcasing <em>Jesus: His Life</em> [in picture], a docudrama (8x60') that examines the religious leader through the eyes of those closest to him. “The hour-long episodes are dedicated to interpretations of the enigmatic figure who transformed their lives in one way or another,” says Helen Jurado, the senior director of international content sales for Latin America and U.S. Hispanic at A+E Networks.
Another highlight is <em>Voices from the Grave</em>, which uses cutting-edge hologram technology to give terminally ill individuals the opportunity to record personal messages for their loved ones. There is also <em>Forged in Fire</em> (Desafío Sobre Fuego), a format that has been a hit in Latin America.
“A+E Networks has an extensive library that allows us to partner up with a robust array of clients in the region,” Jurado says.
