ZDF Enterprises has secured the distribution rights for the psychological thriller series Victor Lessard from Canadian Pixcom Group for outside of Canada.
Victor Lessard is a crime series which tackles identity issues, recovering memory loss and a need for recognition. Adapted from the best-selling novels by Martin Michaud, an author described as the “master of the Quebec thriller,” it tells the story of a driven detective and his pursuit of the evil behind unspeakable crimes.
Commissioned in Canada by Québecor Média for Club Illico, AddikTV and TVA, 20 one-hour episodes are already available, and another ten are currently in production. Patrice Robitaille stars in the title role.
