Canale 5 will premiere in prime time slot on Sunday, June 9 the new romantic comedy series Lontano Da Te (8x50') produced for the first time by Mediaset Italy and Mediaset España together, in collaboration with Cross Production. Directed by Ivan Sivestrini the series has been recorded between Sevilla, Rome and Prague and in Spain it has been named Lejos de ti. It talks about the incredible love story between Candela, a dancer that lives in Sevilla, and Massimo, the CEO of family business “Salvatori Tour”, now in crisis, with the headquarter in Rome. They are completely different people, with antipodal characters, that live parallel life but that meet continuously. Candela is an extravagant and modern woman who lives in a small flat with her mother, who helps her with her 9yo son, Pepe. She works as a flamenco dancer teacher but her school suffers for the economic crisis. Massimo lives with Francesca, a doctor, a medical internist who tries to unblock the routine of their relationship.
Candela and Massimo meet for the first time in Praga, and they immediately find out there are completely opposite and between them is hate at first sight. Anyway, from that day they will have kind of “apparitions” of each other, which will change their life forever.
