US production company Propagate has signed a multi-year deal with filmmaker Antoine Fuqua and his prodco to make TV series.
Fuqua is behind feature films such as 2004’s King Arthur, Olympus Has Fallen in 2013 and 2016’s remake of The Magnificent Seven.
For TV, he most recently directed and exec produced HBO documentary What’s My Name: Muhammad Ali, while his prodco Fuqua Films is currently producing drama series #FreeRayShawn for shortform streaming platform Quibi.
Under the pact with A+E Networks-backed Propagate, Fuqua Films will expand its television activities in both scripted and non-scripted programming.
