Netflix releases on 3rd April 2020 the 4th chapter of Spanish crime drama series “La Casa De Papel” (ita: La Casa di Carta; eng: Money Heist). 8 episodes produced by Netflix and Vancouver Media. Written by Alex Pina who announces that the series will include the biggest shock of all seasons.
The series opens with the chaos that ended the third season, which ended with a sensational cliffhanger. There were also some surprises in the line-up with the currently dead Berlin (Pedro Alonso) making an appearance as well as Nairobi (Alba Flores) whose fate was left uncertain at the end of season three. Other returning cast members for the new series are expected to include Najwa Nimri as Alicia Sierra and Enrique Arce as Arturo Román. One character who looks set to play a major role is Gandia (José Manuel Poga) who viewers will remember at the head of security in part three. So, we will discover the destiny of Nairobi, mortally wounded, and of couple “El professor” and Raquel, that she has been captured by the police. He is convinced that Raquel is dead. It will be a hard moment for famous Spanish thief gang and there will be a dangerous internal enemy.
Netflix will also release a documentary about the series and how it became an international phenomenon. Few details about the documentary that it will include testimonies from creator Alex Pina.
The series contains another tribute to Italy, after the famous song “Bella Ciao” presented on the previous series, there will be the reinterpretations of two Italian famous songs: “Ti Amo” of Umberto Tozzi and “Centro di gravità permanente” of Franco Battiato.
