Sholab is filming a teen series in the north of Italy. POV – I primi anni (The First years) is the title of the series based on the Dutch format Brugklas already broadcast in Poland, France, Canada, Denmark and UK
The series set in a high school close to Turin tells the story of a group of young adult between 13 and 16 years old. Each episode is focused on different topics from love, friendship, school and family to eating disorders and bullying.
The series is based on the Dutch format and it’s written by Francesco Bigi, Nicola Conversa and Erica Galles. The title stands for POV (point of view) and reflects the intensive use of social media by all the young people.
The series (52x12’) will be broadcast by Rai Gulp in 2021, is produced by ShowLab and Rai Ragazzi.
