After last April stop, when new episodes shooting was interrupted by the pandemic, from Monday September 7 will return Rai Uno's daily soap Il Paradiso delle Signore. It will start exactly where we left off, with fourth season's last 25 episodes.
Il Paradiso delle Signore, freely inspired by Emile Zola’s novel, is set in 1950s Milan and centres around a clothing department store. Starring Alessandro Tersigni, Roberto Farnesi, Vanessa Gravina and Gloria Radulescu, the show focuses on the store’s employees and follows their dramas against the backdrop of social change. Il Paradiso delle Signore was launched by Rai Uno in 2015 and broadcasted for two seasons (20ep x 50’) in prime-time, one night a week. The third season turned into a long-running soap comprising 180 episodes, 40-minutes each, and was aired every day (from Monday to Friday) at 3pm. Last June, Aurora TV, a Banijay Group company, confirmed that Il Paradiso delle Signore was renewed for a further 320 episodes across two series.
Il Paradiso delle Signore is produced by Aurora TV’s Giannandrea Pecorelli and executive produced by Daniele Carnacina. The show is directed by Francesco Pavolini, Riccardo Mosca, Marco Maccaferri and Isabella Leoni.
