A new version is in production with Alessandro Gassman and Claudia Pandolfi in Italy. The series directed by Alessandro D'Alatri (I Bastardi di Pizzofalcone) is produced by Banijay Studios Italia for Rai 1.

On 17 February France 2 launched La Faute à Rousseau, a loose adaptation of Spanish format Merlí. Benjamin Rousseau (Charlie Dupont) is a new and unconventional philosophy teacher who inspires his pupils to approach learning in a different way. It attracted 3.2 million viewers,13.2% market share on 4+ target and 6.7% on commercial target).
