Directed by Roan Johnson as well as the historical characters who made "BarLume" famous: Filippo Timi still plays the role of Massimo Viviani, Lucia Mascino those of Commissioner Fusco, Enrica Guidi is Tizi, while Stefano Fresi and Corrado Guzzanti are still once Beppe Battaglia and Paolo Pasquali. Always together, even if this time with the help of technology, the "urethra quartet", led by Alessandro Benvenuti (Emo), together with Atos Davini (Pilade) Marcello Marziale (Gino) and Massimo Paganelli (Aldo).
In the first episode, entitled Mare Forza Quattro, inspired by the world of Marco Malvaldi's novels, published by Sellerio Editore, a strong storm at the end of March hits the Pineta seafront, destroying tables and chairs of our beloved Glimmer. Could it be a metaphor for the arrival of the virus? In doubt, the old men, with the exception of Emo (Alessandro Benvenuti), have already shut themselves up in the house and thus cannot witness the discovery of the body that the storm brought under the bar, shaking the day of Beppe (Stefano Fresi), of Tizi (Enrica Guidi) and Massimo (Filippo Timi). A mangy case for Fusco (Lucia Mascino), but luckily there is Viviani to give her a hand as usual. The appointment is then set with the second episode, titled "Tana Libera Tutti", in free-to-air first viewing, on TV8, Thursday 27 May, always in prime time.
